1 - Getting Started with M365 Outlook after the Email Cutover (iOS)

After the email cutover you will need to make sure that you are access your mail at the correct places.

STEP ONE: REMOVE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNTS:

1. Open the Outlook App for iOS

 

2. Tap the Mail icon to make sure you are in the main inbox screen, then tap your profile icon

 

 

3. Tap the gear icon to access your settings


 

4. Tap to select an account

 

5. Scroll down and tap to select Delete Account

 

6. Tap to select Delete From This Device 

 

7. Repeat these steps to remove all QC email accounts from your Outlook App


STEP TWO: ADDING YOUR NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT:


8. You may get a pop up like you see below, if so, tap to select Add Account and skip to step XX. If not, continue to the next step.

 

9. Enter your CUNYfirst credentials (firstname.lastnameXX@login.cuny.edu where XX are the last two digits of your EMPLID), then click Add Account

 

10. On the CUNY Web Application Login pop up, Enter your CUNYfirst credentials (firstname.lastnameXX@login.cuny.edu where XX are the last two digits of your EMPLID), then enter your CUNYfirst password, and then tap to select Login

 

11. Once the new email account is added, tap to select Maybe Later

 

Congratulations, your new email account has been added. Please be patient as your account is updated.


STEP THREE: ADDING YOUR OLD QC EMAIL ACCOUNT:


12. Tap the Mail icon to make sure you are in the main inbox screen, then tap your profile icon

 

 

13. Tap the select the Add Account icon

 

14. Tap to select Add Email Account

 

15. Enter your old QC email address (firstname.lastname@legacymail.qc.cuny.edu), then tap to select Add Account 

 

16. Enter your old QC email password, then add a Description

 

17. Make sure the Use Advanced Settings option is ON. Enter mymail.qc.cuny.edu in the Server field, then enter QC in the Domain field, then enter your CAMS shortame (firstinitiallastname) in the Username field, finally click Sign In


 

Congratulations, your old QC email account has now been added. Please be patient while the account updates
