How do I create online office hours with MS Teams in BrightSpace
BrightSpace (BrS) users at CUNY can now create Team meetings within BrS using their M365 accounts for free. Teams meetings can be used to create, schedule, and launch their online lessons from within BrS.
1. Navigate to https://brightspace.cuny.edu
2. Log in with your CUNYfirst credentials: firstname.lastname02@login.cuny.edu(2 last digits of your Emplid)
3. Choose your course from the My Courses widget

4. Click on the Virtual Office Hours Creation module from the Visual Table of Contents widget

5. Login with your CUNYfirst credentials: firstname.lastname02@login.cuny.edu(2 last digits of your Emplid)

6. Allow pop ups in your browser

7. Click on Allow Pop Ups for Brightspace Hosted Environment
8. Log into Microsoft with your CUNYfirst credentials: firstname.lastname02@login.cuny.edu(2 last digits of your Emplid)

11. After logging click Accept on the Permissions Requested page

12. After click on Accept, click on Create a Meeting Link for your meeting in Teams

13. Follow the steps below to create a meeting in Teams
a. Select your date and time settings
b. Add your repeat settings
c. Add in a description
d. Click Save

14. You can either Join the Microsoft Teams Meeting (If it is time for the meeting) or you can Add it to your Calendar to join at a later time
