Connecting a Windows Device to eduroam

By following this one-time procedure for your Windows device, you ensure that your CUNY Login credentials are secure when connecting to the internet through ANY eduroam Wi-Fi hotspot:

Open cat.eduroam.org in a web browser on your device.
Click on Click here to download your eduroam® installer.
Search for and select City University of New York.
Confirm that the “Download your installer” line includes your Microsoft Windows version, then click on the eduroam button.

If your Windows version is not in the “Download your installer” line, eduroam may not support a secure internet connection for your device.
Save the eduroam installation file to your device.
Launch the eduroam installation file and click Next to continue with the installation.
Click OK to confirm you are a member of CUNY students, faculty or staff.
Enter your CUNY Login username and password in the fields as labeled, then click Install.
When the Installation complete window is displayed, click Finish.

Now you can connect to an eduroam wireless hotspot when you see it in the list of wireless connections.
