Disconnect from the SharePoint server/website
Please follow these instructions carefully.

Open "File Explorer," this can also access this in the following ways
- Select the folder icon on the taskbar
- Select the icon on the Start Menu
- Press the Windows logo key and "E" button on your keyboard
- This should open the "Quick access" menu
- The "hosts" file should appear
- Click on "hosts"
- You will be prompted to open the file in Notepad
- Remove the "#" from in front of 149.4.99.43 www.qc.cuny.edu
- Copy the text of the document
- Close Notepad
- Click the Windows logo on the bottom left hand of your computer
- Type Notepad, but do not open Notepad
- Notepad will appear under "Best Match"
- Right click on Notepad and select "Run Program as Administrator"
- You will be asked the following: "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"
- Click Yes
- Paste the text into open Notepad file
- Click File "Save As"
- Change "Save as type" to ALL FILES
- Select hosts
You will receive a message that reads as follows: "hosts already exists. Do you want to replace it?
- Click "Yes"
- Close Notepad
- Open the browser using www.qc.cuny.edu
You should now be in the new environment. You will have to perform these actions every time to disconnect from the SharePoint website.
