1. Select Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account.

2. Select Microsoft Exchange.

3. Enter the information requested:

  1. Email - Enter your full e-mail address in the Email. Ex: Jane.Smith03@qmail.cuny.edu

  2. Password - Your password for your CUNYfirst account

  3. Description - What you would like to name the account on your mobile device

4. Select Next on the upper-right corner of the screen. Your Apple device will try to find the settings it needs to set up your account. If it does, skip to step 6.

5. If your Apple device cannot find your settings automatically, you will receive a notice that your device cannot verify the identity of "qmail.cuny.edu." Hit OK.

  1. You will be prompted to manually enter your server name into the server field. Server name: outlook.office365.com

  2. Enter your full email address as your username. Ex: Jane.Smith03@qmail.cuny.edu

  3. Leave Domain blank and click Next.

6. Choose the type of information you want to synchronize between your account and your device, and then click Save. By default, Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders are synchronized.
