How to download Office 365 as a student
1) Go to portal.office.com
2)Enter your email address
- Your username will be your CUNYfirst username followed by @qmail.cuny.edu.
- For example, "John.Doe12@qmail.cuny.edu"
Don't use @login.cuny.edu
Use @qmail.cuny.edu
3)Enter your CUNYfirst password then click "Sign In".
4)Authenticate your account using your selected method of verification.
5) Select "Install and More" on the top right hand side of the page
6) Select "install Microsoft 365 Apps" from the drop down menu.
7) You will be redirected to your account settings, click "Install Office":
8) The .exe OfficeSetup file will download , once the download is complete select the file to start the installation process. You will be prompted "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device ? ", select Yes to continue.
9) Office 365 will begin to download:
10) Once Office 365 is installed, the message below will appear, click Close to complete the installation:
