Manage your Viva Engage inbox

You can use your Viva Engage inbox to view, manage, and prioritize conversations that matter most to you. The inbox includes private messages, announcements, and conversations that you participate in or are @mentioned in.

You can also edit your notification settings to receive email alerts for Viva Engage inbox activity.

You can perform the following tasks with your Viva Engage inbox:

Review all your relevant Viva Engage activity in one place.
Mark important conversations as unread for later follow-up.
Stop following conversations that are no longer relevant.
Use split view to navigate between unread and read messages.
Stay informed on the go with the mobile inbox.

How to use the inbox

Go to your Viva Engage inbox by selecting the Inbox icon in the left column next to the Home Feed.

Engage

The inbox sorts your conversations into unread messages, private messages, and all messages.

Messages

Create a new private message

Select New Private Message.

Add the participant names and click Post.

Following a conversation
Post

You can following a conversation in two ways:

In the conversation header, select Following in Inbox.

Following Inbox
From any message, select follow on the More menu.
